lololol.....does it matter what ethnic backgoeund you are???/ Doesn't matter who you are if you don't brush your hair, you only get a rats nest..not dreadsd. people pay alot of money to get that look.

Yes, If the person is has a kinky textured tightly coiled hair....(Doesn't necessarily have to be of African-Descant I've seen plenty of non African Descant people with kinky nappy hair), the hair will naturally matte together. The Rastafarians tradition grow their hair this way in a free form they do not part their hair to form a desired size loc they just let the hair naturally matte together over time.
