i mean he wants my husband to bathe him,help him wipe is ***,comb his hair,i swear he acts like he doesnt know how to do anything for himself and that makes me and my husband have disagreements cuz i feel like a child should learn to do stuff for themself,

be compassionate and patient. im guessing he dont live with you. talk to your husband on his own and make sure he understands how you feel and the situation because i have a son i dont live with and have been through the same, if you dont talk to each other it gets worse because your husband will think you dont like his boy or you resent him or are pushing him out and then you have real problems. TALKING is the answer, its hard to say it all but it must be said , and not in front of the boy. your husband probably mollycoddles his boy too i imagine . i know i did, its only because they dont see each other all the time. it will be hard for your husband to change or even maybe accept there is a problem but you must approach the subject gently and continue to talk to each other, with a little love you will get there in the end!

some kids are different. the way theyr raised. instead of gettting bothered by the situtation. possibly try to help out. show him how to do things. and after u finish or ur husband finishes helping him. have him do it himselfs. show him he can do it by himslef. and you can reward him afer he does it all by himself. im 17 and ive been watching 2 of my little cousins since 15 and now my litle girl dresses her self. brushes her teeth. etc. and shes only 7.
