Help me on my hair!?

Everyday my hair is always a total disaster. Even after I comb my hair its still icky. When I come home its always messy and have coming out of my ponytail. What can I do to it so its not a disaster?

Help me on my hair!?

If it's coming out of your pony, you probably have broken ends around your face. You can try to clip it down with barrettes or bobby pins. Also, if you put mousse in it while it''s wet you may have more control. I hate to see people blow dry hair everyday because it's 'so' damaging. You may have to redo your hair a couple times during the day. Not many people can just go all day with a hairstyle and still look great in the evening. I'm not sure what you mean by still icky. It may be dry and you could use a good conditioner-maybe a leave in treatment would be helpful, then it is so much less damaging to your hair and you will cut down on future problems as well. Someone gave me the idea of a pea size amount of olive oil rubbed on my palms then into the ends of my hair. It helps it tremendously to not stick out and look brittle. It's much more smooth and helps my ends. This may be another idea. Good luck.

Help me on my hair!?

do you blow dry it? if you dont try blow drying and straightening it.

Help me on my hair!?

Try to use a LITTLE hairspray. If you use too much, it'll look over done.

I hope this helped!

Help me on my hair!?

ummm you should try straightening it

Help me on my hair!?

Blow dry your hair once you get out of the shower and after you pull it back into a ponytail put a little bit of hairspray on, that should help! Just be sure not to put to much!

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

When you comb your hair while it's wet, with a finetooth comb... What will happen to your hair? Will it become damaged? How can you tell when it's damaged? And most importantly, what measures should you take if your hair is damaged this way?

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

I don't think it becomes damaged.

It might fall out, but that's natural--there are a NUMBER of hairs that are supposed to fall out in a day.

:]

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

combing ur hair with a comb is recommended because it causes less hair to fall out (using a brush makes ur hair fall if its wet) u should use a conditioner (i like pantene) or cream for the hair to allow the comb to go through ur hair easier. if ur hair is damages theres lots of shampoos and conditiioners n hair creams that help you

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

it wont get damaged but it will break.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

Please first blow dry your hair before you comb them.....then your hair will break less and also be more shiny......The measures that you should take to avoid this is always dry your hair before you brush....put a detangler in your hair if you have long ones( A lot of them are available theses days....)

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

I don't know if it'll damage it. I always heard that a pick or wide tooth comb were best to use, and to start from the ends and work your way up. Supposed to keep from getting split ends.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

if u use a comb it wont damage it,but if u use a brush it will damage ur hair

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

When you comb your hair while it is wet than it is more likely to break off easier. You probaly could damage your hair too. When your hair is damaged than you will see that it is very uneven in certain spots, your hair is starting tio break off all the time. You know what I mean? Just stuff that don't usually happen.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

No not that I know of. aren't you suposed to do that ?

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

No using a comb in wet or dry hair protects it from damage its the best and cheapest thing you can do. The signs of damaged hair is frizz split ends and coarseness.Good luck!!!!!

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

when you comb ur hair while its wet, as long as u dont pull 2 hard its kk. howeva its realy hard not 2 pull if theres a knot, so u should use a wide-tooth comb first, then a fine-tooth comb. It can cause split ends if u dont use the wide-tooth comb. If u do damage ur hair this way, use an intense moisturising treatment (such as a hot oil or beeswax conditioner) %26amp; trim off any split ends that u get.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

if you comb it then nothing will happen thats only when you brush it

and it would be pretty obvious if your hairs damage cause then it would fall out

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

It's never recomended to comb your hair while it's still wet or damp. It wont do major damage, but it will cause your hair to break, or come out much easier. It's best to let it dry as much as possible before brushing. If you must comb your hair though, do so with a thick, wide tooth comb. This will minimize the breakage of your hair.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

your hair is fragile when its wet , you can tear the hair. you should always use a wide tooth comb when its wet and start combing it from the bottom working your way up to the top to work the knots out

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

wet hair is prone to breakage than dry hair, but if u really need to detangle it, use a wide toothed comb, not a fine tooth one.

When you comb your hair while it's wet...?

NEVER brush your hair while it is wet. Use a Wide Tooth comb and when it dries you can brush it. Brushing your hair is one of the worst things for your hair. You should treat it like delicate lace. Washing it every other day, and conditioning it everyday will help it Stay much stronger. Also use heating irons minimally

Combing wet hair??

i read in a magazine that you should not comb or brush wet hair...but if you are going to blow dry your hair how can you not brush it first? Does anyone know about this? Is it just a myth or whatever?

ps. while your here do you know any home rededies for stronger hair? Tips?

Combing wet hair??

What I've read and heard before is that you are supposed to comb your hair once it is wet and not use a brush. Think about it thats what the hair stylist does when you get your hair done they use combs. I've always brushed mine though it just goes faster. Sorry no idea on home remedies to make it stronger, try searching the net. Just type in something like 'stronger hair home remedy'. Good luck.

Combing wet hair??

i heard that you do not brush your wet hair. but comb it with a wide-tooth comb.

Combing wet hair??

yes it is true. the general rule is pat your hair dry from the shower. no rough rubbing which causes breakage and frizz just pat it and squeeze lightly. wait 10 to 15 mins before brushing and do not brush hard or breakage will occur. for stronger hair try an avocado and olive oil mix which will also add shine and luster you.

Combing wet hair??

it doesnt make your hair stronger, but for me,when i comb my hair when its wet, then i blow dry it,it makes it smoother.

Combing wet hair??

I've heard a couple things are good, doing an overnight wrap with a little peppermint oil mixed in some olive oil.

Or.... rinse with flat beer...

Combing wet hair??

I don't know if it is a myth or not but I use a very wide toothed comb when my hair is wet to get the tangles out.and I don't have much for breakage in my hair.

I don't know if it is for strength for sure but I love hair masque from biolage, smells great and feels wonderful after

Combing wet hair??

I read in a magizine that u shouldnt brush your hair when its wet because it can break easier when it is wet. u r only supposed to comb your hair with a wide toothed comb if its wet. but what i do is i comb my hair when its wet really good and then when i blow dry it i use a brush but im really careful. and to get stronger or thicker hair u should really try a good shampoo like biolage i use it and when i wasnt using it for a few months my hair got thinner and weaker.

Combing wet hair??

my friend is a stylist she said use a wide tooth comb to comb through wet hair, use Infusium 23 for stronger hair it is a leave in treatment makes my hair silky.

Combing wet hair??

Brush with a comb from the bottom up.

Combing wet hair??

You're right--It isn't good to brush/comb wet hair, but for styling, it's a necessity. Ah, the things we do to look beautiful. Here is how to minimize damage:

Always, always, always use a good conditioner. I suggest any of the ones in the Bed Head product line. (They are all equal in conditioning effectiveness, but my favorite is Dumb Blonde--love the scent). Towel dry after washing/conditioning. Next, use a wide toothed comb to get out tangles (start at bottom and then gradually comb down from the higher parts). Then, let your hair air dry about 80%. Finish styling with a blowdryer and a paddle brush with thick plastic bristles.

If you are going to flat iron or curl your hair, wash/dry it the night before--the more moisture that is in your hair, the more damage the heat styling will do to it. (The style will also stay better and you'll have fewer fly-aways because the extra hours will give your hair more time to replenish its natural oils.) There are also several styling products that you can spritz on before curling/flat ironing that can protect your hair from the heat damage. Check with your hairstylist, or try Ulta.com.

Happy styling!

Combing wet hair??

yeah it's true, because your hair is very delicate when it is wet. but you can comb, you just shouldn't toss it around or handle it roughly when it is wet. if you wanna comb it, comb it gently.

Does combing your hair for a while make your hair appear slightly shinier?

Actually it is brushing your hair that makes shinier. That is because the hair shaft has little cuticles on it and when you brush it this smooths them down thus making the hair shinier. Brushing also helps to distribute the natural oils of your scalp and hair evenly throughout your hair also increasing the shine.

Does combing your hair for a while make your hair appear slightly shinier?

yes, but it works really well with a natural bristle brush. not sure about combs though

Does combing your hair for a while make your hair appear slightly shinier?

Yes it pulls the oil from your scalp though the hair.

How Do I Get Good Hair?

Hi, my hair is nice and all but someimtes its kinky. It looks weird when it's kinky and i want to fix that so it becomes straight. I also noticed that after a few hours since I combed my hair, some single short strands of hair sticks our at the back of the top of my head. I want to fix that too. Please help me.

How Do I Get Good Hair?

Good hair is natural. If you have to go to a salon person to have your hair just right and have more than a cut or a trim, you really don't have good natural hair. Which is the best, like mine :]. But some people might think that its natural.. oh well you can figure it out.

How Do I Get Good Hair?

for those little hairs unless you cut them that will fix the problem. we all have those n-e-ways so why even bother thinking about them i dont

and about your situation about your hair you should use a deep conditioner every 2 weeks to help repair your hair and make it more managable

How Do I Get Good Hair?

if you get a straitner it will totally chnge your life imnot exagerating. i love mine i wouldnt have been able to get one unless someone gave it to me cuz good ones are really really expensive. and cheap ones ruin your hair. SO????

How Do I Get Good Hair?

Try John frieda frizz ease for straighter hair and ALWAYS blow dry. If you want I'd reccomend a straightner. And the hair sticking up might just be a calik. But i'd try taking some hair spray in your hands then patting down your hair to get rid of flyaways.

I need help with layering my long hair!?

If I were to comb my hair up in a high, even ponytail and cut the hair straight across, what kind of hair style would that give me?

When the hair falls back down in place, what kind of style would that result in?

Thanks!

I need help with layering my long hair!?

well it would give you some sort of "A-line" cut... shorter in the back and longer in the front with short stuff on top... but dont do that please! lol... your gonna jack your hair up. its not gonna blend and there will be a big hole at the occipital bone... just dont

I need help with layering my long hair!?

I dont think you would want to do that especially by yourself. It may make your hair look real choppy, uneven and heavy. it is best and suggested to go to a hairdresser, look at the many books of hair styles available look for the desired look and have the hairdresser layer it according to your specifications

I need help with layering my long hair!?

not a very good style... really... u can always get a hairdresser u know... thats what they're there for.. and if u want layers... well... thats definitely not a good way to get them...
