Should I stay and help or just leave him alone?

7 years ago i met a guy, wewent out on 1date.He was very shy and I had to always call him cause he was too shy to call me, so I moved on and got married. 7 years later I am widowed and started talking with SHY GUY again. He talks a little more now, but still we never go out (movies once). In a 4 month period he has been to my place only once( I Iive alone). We spend all our time together at his place.Now I have noticed that he does odd things like count the number of times he brushes his teeth, or comb his hair, etc. One day I cleaned out his bathroom sink and he freaked out. One day he misses me then he don't.He is sweet and fun to be around, then some days he is like SHREK in the swamps. Some how he grown on me , and I like him a lot

I think that is something that you would have to really think about. He doesn't seem like a jerk. He doesn't seem mean so I don't know if leaving would be the answer. He seems like he has OCD. You should try and talk to him about see if he knows and takes anything for it. If not talk to him about getting help. This might help your relationship greatly.
