What solutions would you use for two females students that are disruptive in social study class, wan

trying to come up with two short term and two long term solutions to help the teacher she new to the high school. I'm assuming that they are between the age 14-15 they consently putting on makeup and combing their hair and making eye contact with the boys. I want to come up with a biological perspetive on the two girl what they background may be like and the parent. All this is just assuming I'm doing this as a project

Well, I would try something severe the first time around. Like detention untill they change there attitude. That should give them enough attention I think.

Ask the teacher to have a private talk with them. Perhaps encourage their getting into a drama class. Help them see that hair and makeup is a private activity and does not necessarily make a girl attractive while she is doing it. Maybe if the rest of the class ignors them they will quit doing it. Lame activity. Or, how to lose friends in one easy lesson

First, notify the parents of the situation whether it be in person, letter, or over the phone. This is the key to success. Next, take away whatever the students are using to disrupt the class and give it to the principal. (Also let the parents know this will be done) Remind the two girls once their behaviors improve, them may get these things back. Also, try putting them either in the front or back row of the class. (one in the front, one in the back) This way its harder for them to communicate with each other. I also use a behavior chart with my students. Maybe try recording the two students behaviors during this period. (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor) Also write a little explination if their behavior is not excellent and MAKE SURE THEIR PARENTS sign and return the behavior chart to school each time the two girls have social studies.

First of all, I would separate them. Put them both on the front row, but at opposite ends of the row. Then I would put them on notice that their disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Give them 5 chances, and keep record of what they do. Let them see that you are keeping these records.

When you have reached your limit. Send them, and your documentation to the principal for action.

(I would make them sit facing a corner until they think they can behave. If they want to act like a child, they'll be treated as such) If they sit together separate them as far as possible away from eachother. Have a one-on-one talk with each of them about general respect and make them see how their actions are interfering with the other students' education. If one misbahaves have her go sit out in the hall or a private room and do her work. They'll find out this is no fun.
