I moved to ny and now everytime i wash my hair in the shower they feel different?

and when i comb my hair and scratch my nail with my hand, i can see some white particles felt under my nails. ...

what is it? it looks like dandruff, but its not

or like an old skin....or some chemicals

could that be because of the excessive amout of chlorine in water, i have no idea, anyone experience that problem?

I LIVE IN NY myself .I THINK I HAVE HAD NO SUCH PROBS .MAY BE ITS DANDRUFF %26amp; U MIGHT NOT HAVE NOTICED IT EARLIER....
