Try braids. You can get either single braids or cornrows. Your hair will get a break from the chemicals/heat and will grow in while you're rocking a new braided style. If you're feeling adventurous, you can have your braider weave in another color (red, blond, light brown) as highlights. I had my hair braided after I cut off all of my relaxed hair. I was in a transition to wearing my natural hair. Worked like a charm. I didn't have to fuss with it and it looked great for several weeks at a time. Good luck.

dont do anything but wash and condition it and towel dry it should grow a little bit in a couple months and wear a wig or sumthin and you dont have to look special for freshman year its a piece of cake and nobody is worried about your hair my hair is long and i came to school wit a fro and everybody liked it so calm down
